The Nintendo Weekend Warrior - Image 1The old: the music may be decades old but the most successful band in history charges into the gaming world, showing us its box art and its bundle. As for the new, Nintendo's fancy new controller is not looking back - you're gonna have to get the new games if you want to make full use of Wii MotionPlus since Nintendo won't add support for older games. Meanwhile, Nintendo is looking forward to coming months, where they expect the hardware sales that they've enjoyed for a long time.

The Nintendo Weekend Warrior - Image 1With the GDC riding off into the sunset, the gaming scene is left with a seriously hyped-up trail filled with bits of info on this year's hottest titles. Couple that with the new info that Famitsu's so darn good at getting, and you have a very noisy news week to recap. For starters, Square Enix revealed more info for their much-awaited games, plus the Wii homebrew devs seemed to have really hit their stride, releasing their heavy artillery for the scene. For this edition of the Nintendo Weekend Warrior for the DS and Wii, there's gonna be some rumor-busting, some Squeenix quizzing, and Wii brewing!

Nintendo Weekend Warrior - Image 1It's the weekend so it's time to take a look back through the week and see what Nintendo has been up to. And to be quite frank, news has been pretty quiet at the Wii and DS blogs. Let's keep it nice and easy this week and let's talk about all them nostalgic games coming and the piracy that's really getting to Nintendo.
