Among the juicy details scooped by gaming site Ve3tro reveals that for the first time, the game will feature an online Royal Rumble mode,  a complete overhaul to the ‘Road to Wrestlemania’ mode and many more.

Word's out that THQ is hoping to release the next installment in the Smackdown vs. Raw franchise sometime later this year, this according to execs who attended that meeting.

Big Huge Games - Image 1It's no secret that publisher THQ is having some financial troubles, especially with the US$ 192 million loss that they reported last month. It looks like things haven't really picked up yet, too, and now the company is planning to close down one of its studios and turning another two into independent studios.
