Four years. Not exactly the right age for guys to start driving, or playing the like of Grand Theft Auto. But for a console that's related political-correctness and youthful innocence, that's old enough for it to start thinking about how it wants to mature. We'll be discussing the sort of M-rated content we'd love to see for the Nintendo DS, which you can follow in the full article. |

Whine about what you may regarding the Metal Slug series from SNK: Last-gen gameplay, 2D graphics, and almost plotless adventures. Yet at one point or another, you've probably found yourself with a friend going crazy with one of the iterations. Admit it, the sheer, mindless mayhem is too much to resist. Time to whip out your Nintendo DS because the latest installment, Metal Slug 7, is on the way and it's exclusive. A gameplay video was shown at this year's Tokyo Game Show and it features more of what made the franchise such a hit: Rocking explosions, wacky animations and crazy guns to use on countless enemies. Check it out: It's familiar stuff but that doesn't make it any less attractive. Whether you play alone or with someone else for some co-op, Metal Slug games are always powder kegs of laughs and thrills. We'll keep you posted for more on this one so keep it right with us. |
