It's the question we all asked about the Wii: "where the hell are the hardcore games?" Here's your answer. According to Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime, "instead of competing for the very best players, we decided to shoot for the most players."

Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime: "One of our competitors [the PlayStation 3] projects they will sell 10 million consoles worldwide this year. For us, that's three months of production [for the Wii]." Ohhh, burn!

Anyway, on to the news. Addressing the shortage problem, Fils-Aime has announced that they will raise production by 33%. About time.

Some people were surprised during the recent E3 2008 event, when Nintendo announced one of its upcoming DS games will include an actual Grand Theft Auto title.
