The latest numbers in Japan are now in from Famitsu, showing strong sales of the PSP-3000. The industry as a whole seems to be suffering in the region though; the data says that sales keep falling since last year. But that's probably just because everyone in Japan already has a console. The PSP-3000 continues to make huge waves in Japan. All in all, the PSP saw sales more than twice all the consoles and the DS combined. I think "wow" would be the best word in this situation.
