Lots of big news for this week's recap, so you'd better stay comfy.
There's a hell lot of games coming to the Wii and DS in 2009, and we
have news on the biggest that the two platforms are gonna get - whether
they're the Pokemon remakes, Monster Hunter 3,
and a bunch of retro WiiWare games, we've got ya covered. With a lot of
games coming, it probably explains why the DS sold a million last
April, so the new DS owners will have a lot to play and choose from. Quit wasting your time reading this babble, 'cause you're gonna read them again in the full article. Or not. |

With all the hardware sales reports we've gotten from Enterbrain and Media Create, it's a pretty well-known fact that the DS has sold very well in Japan. But it takes a simple pic from Nintendo to really rub it in and make us see the bigger picture - one in every five Japanese folks now own a Nintendo DS. Talk about ownage. |

We're done with the remake rumor, and now here's another one for us to play guessing games with. NeoGAF forum poster Wii Will Rock U a.k.a. Roger DiLuigi, who seems to have a knack for getting insider info behind the new Pokemon remakes, claims that Soul Silver and Heart Gold will have gender and breeding features. Now how is this guy credible? Hit the full article for more info. |

Remake rumors went wild a few days ago with the ominous gold and silver confetti balls on Japanese TV show, Pokemon Sunday. As it turns out, word on the street had it right - Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver will both be getting out of their pokeballs and back in action in their new remakes. More info after the jump. |

Japanese TV show Pokemon Sunday dropped a rumor-sparking bomb when they announced that they'll be announcing an exclusive world announcement on May 10th during the show's Pokemon Game Arena segment. Yet another announcement announcing an announcement. At any rate, what sparked the rumor was the conspicuous use and colors of their big confetti balls - colors that stand for two of the best Pokemon versions made. |
