A new update of Woopsi is now available courtesy of homebrew coder ant512. In case you're not familiar with the Woopsi, this AmigaOS system-based app is a handy GUI library for creating homebrews for the NIntendo DS. The latest update is the first alpha version of the homebrew that includes a number of new features, bug fixes and various other improvements.

Homebrew coder maRk2512 has released a new version of Stone Age, a homebrew game remake of the classic Amiga game for the Nintendo DS. The latest update is now compatible with the latest version of PAlib to solve flashcard issues that other users have reported.

Homebrew coder James Garner tipped us off about the latest release of his excellent homebrew tool for all aspiring Nintendo DS game developers, the DS Game Maker. The latest  update is a feature pack release that includes a global copy and paste of sprites, pack and go tool,  Guitar Hero controller support and some more bug fixes.

A new version of DronS has been released by homebrew coder n00bey (aka leinad). DronS is an Armagetron clone, a 3D multiplayer racing game based on the light cycle races in Tron. The latest update has added a few changes and motion support.

Aside from his main projects, DS homebrew developer hillbilly likes to make some small ones for fun. That's where DS MediaCenter comes in, although there's nothing small and casual about this project - it's a full-fledged movie player and launcher with a lot of potential, and hillbilly is definitely no hill-billy for being able to come up with something like this.

Woopsi is a handy dandy GUI library made by Antony Dzeryn for those who want to make their own Nintendo DS homebrew. strata8's last release of Parallel Worlds was Alpha 3. Since then, Alpha 4 and 5 were unofficial releases to the guys at the PAlib IRC channel. For the next release, it's gonna be v0.1 final. But before we think ahead for that version, let's look at today's changelog.

jgc146 just released his first homebrew game for the DS, Poppin. Folks at the PAlib forums are going a bit nuts at how hard this game is. So if you wanna join in the self-punishing fun, click on the download link below.

Just like alanceil's Leveltool for the Wii, Bootlegger came up with NDSpiritLevel, although this homebrew was inspired by a similar app on the HTC Diamond phone. Now at v1.0, Bootlegger reckons this may be the final release, unless of course someone finds a bug or notifies him that the DSerial isn't working properly. Care to try it out?

Right next to Karakh's release of his DS homebrew for Minesweeper comes LightSout. This would be his first attempt at PAlib, which actually turned out better than he expected, finally replacing Tetris as his "bathroom" game.
