Nothing says "gamer inside" on your front door like having a NES controller for a doorbell. In this unrevealed gamer home, a NES controller was modded into a wireless doorbell, giving visitors an added treat when coming over. Video inside. |

This week's recap features a wide variety of news - from a TV spot,
self-mutilation, pastries, and even sandwich bags trying to pass off as
DSi accessories. While it's not the most gaming-dense rundown we've
had, it certainly makes up for it with some amusement. Read on for the Nintendo
Weekend Warrior. |

After 8 years and 12 piercings, BME user metal_games wants to move on to other forms of art he can apply to his body. But instead of going down the tattoo road, this guy opted to go for scarification, wherein you intentionally scar yourself to create a pattern or an image. The interesting bit here is that the design isn't what you usually see - it's the image of the NES controller. For the squeamish, the pics may not be too suitable for you guys. |

Without doubt, Capcom is one of the largest and oldest third party publishers out there, some of us even grew up with Capcom, playing each Mega Man title one by one on the old NES. Unlike the others, Capcom weathered the recession and still remains one of the more prominent players in the industry today. Here are 15 franchises that Capcom has to thank for its success. |

After taking five for quite some time now, The Weekend Warrior just took his Conan the Barbarian-like sword and took it to the nearest smithy. This time, the DS and Wii Weekend Warriors have joined forces into the new Nintendo Weekend Warrior, bringing you all the big news from an Italian plumber's pipeline.Originally posted 21 Feb 09 at 11:00PM |

This one, I like. I remember playing this game for hours at a time in the NES days when I was little. I used to love it when I get my ammo upgrades plus those two little planes that help you out once you get the bonus. Gaming nostalgia at its finest, all thanks to DS brew dev, Copper.Download: DS1942 v1.0 |

It's difficult to run out of games to play on the Nintendo DS, and that may actually be a bad thing. According to Game Republic head honcho Yoshiki Okamoto who's been in the industry since the world even saw Street Fighter, the Atari crash might be right around the corner. Head over to the full article for details. |
