Revolutionizing the way you wake up is this fun alarm clock spotted at online retail site, Thumbs Up. It's very much reminiscent of the arcade dance machine for Dance Dance Revolution, but it doesn't carry the trademark from Konami. It does, however, make your fingers dance on the lit arrow keys every time you beg the morning to give you five more minutes.

Siliconera reports that Konami has recently filed a trademark for "Genso Suikoden" in the US. Yeah, it's for the Japanese series name, which kinda dilutes the possibility of an actual new game in the long-running RPG series. Still, the chance for another game is there.

And we shall definitely be looking forward to Konami's presentation at the upcoming E3 2009. The company is hyping up their attendance by promising "surprise guests and revolutionary announcements".

And finally, this is really it! There's no stopping E3 now! The committee for the E3 Expo 2009 has now released the floor plans for the said event. Posted over at their official website are the layouts for the West Hall, South Hall, and the 2nd Level Directory. Details after the jump.

Nothing major is really happening console-side this week. The console versions of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel are finally seeing a release after a few delays and the subsequent bankruptcy of game developer Ascaron. Wii owners, meanwhile, get Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus and Help Wanted. On the handheld side of things, the Sony PSP gets no love at all. The DS gets some, at least, but it's aimed mostly towards the 12 and under set. Strategy gamers on a budget should check out the PC releases, though. There are a couple of good games in there.

Anyone who's ever played more than one Suikoden title knows that this is a franchise that has held firm on its traditions since McDohl's rebellion in 1995. With the release of Suikoden Tierkreis, however, it seems like Konami has decided to drop tradition with the DS installment and moved on to what feels like a non-Suikoden title.

The 108 Stars of Destiny are once again coming together in Suikoden Tierkreis, and this time, they're getting a power that they've never had before. No, it's not a True Rune, but it's a story-supported Wi-Fi mode that'll give you online-specific quests. Best part? You can hire characters from other players for a set period of time.
