Jayenkai, a homebrew developer, has just released JNKSlots for the Nintendo DS - a homebrew game and an arcade rehash of casino gambling slots. Sporting arcade-ish graphics of retro look and feel, JNKSlots offers six different slot machines further diversified by an assortment of arcade rules. It comes at a very small download and offers multitudes of spinning fun.If you can't afford the trip to your local casino (faced with that dilemma, forget Vegas) but have the need to see those slots align, then JNKSlots could be your ticket to that type of heaven. After patching the file with DLDI, execute it and select a game via double-click. Insert a virtual coin (unlimited) to activate the arcade slot machine chosen, and spin to your heart's delight or until your three lives have expired. You can always re-insert another coin to get back to spinning. Perform well on the first game to unlock the five other slot machines, especially the final, cutesy level. The Via link below navigates you to the Jayenkai's release thread. |

Heads up! We got another DS homebrew game for you guys, and it's called JNKPlat: Dungeon Escape. This game has a retro feel to it, which may induce waves of nostalgia for gamers who are ahem, past their puberty.Anyway, this one's made by Jayenkai, and it seems like the fist version, so guys be nice with your comments, alright (the guys at PAlib like it, though, so yay for Jayenkai). Anyway, this one looks promising, and I think you guys might find you like it. According to the dev, there are around 12 levels there, but the twelfth one isn't done yet, while level four is just the other half of level two. Plus, there's no title screen (as of now) as well. But you guys don't mind, right? After all, it's still the first version. Controls:

Stringy Things DS by Jayenkai is a series of homebrew word games for the Nintendo DS. this word game is similar to Scrabble, where players form words from individual lettered tiles displayed on the screen. The computer picks three letters and shows them on the top screen. You type a word (real words, not made-up words) containing the three letters in order. For example, if the computer picked the letters "A", "B", and "C", you could put "ABdiCated." For "OMS"the right words would be "hOMeS."" For "PLT," you could type "PLasTered." The goal is to get as many words as you can within the time limit, remembering that longer words score you more points. If you love word games, Stringy Things DS will keep you happily occupied for hours! Download: [Stringy Things v0.3] |
