We'e seen the TV ads, now it's time to take a look at the screenshots for Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyan title on the Nintendo DS. It's definitely not cel-shaded but somehow, it does give off that TV cartoon vibe, don't you think?

There were already a few signs hinting that Atari was having some trouble holding on to the Dragon Ball franchise. A couple of years ago, the publisher clashed with FUNimation over the game license. Namco Bandai announced last month that it had secured publishing rights to three new entries in the franchise. Today, Namco Bandai has announced that it's finishing what it started.

Dare not cheat the system, for the arms of the law are long -- and can get all your money away, leaving you bankrupt. This is what publishers out there should be warned of. The ELSPA is serious with their business, and you bet you'll get fined big time if you lie to PEGI.

 Following the government decision to uphold PEGI as the sole and official ratings board in UK, the BBFC has sent their well-wishes, albeit still with that restrained barb. BBFC Director David Cooke insisted that the BBFC would have been the better choice. Meanwhile, top industry heads are giving their praises for the government's pick. Seems like I wasn't the only one of the opinion that E3 made a splashy comeback with this year's event. Industry bigwigs also expressed their satisfaction with how it averted near-disaster, and giving a great show despite the pull-out of some companies, as well as the threat of the A-H1N1 virus. Get ready for some magical time as Square Enix has announced today that the much awaited game, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days will be hitting the stores in Europe this Autumn.

Swine flu strikes again. The threat posed by the H1N1 virus has resulted in Square Enix and Koei cutting the number of their staff attending this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Details in the full article.

Two years ago, Atari Europe was fortunately in the safe zone, despite the mother company's grim and disheartening financial report of Q2 2007. Back then, the problem was isolated only to the US offices, and the Atari branch was said to be unharmed by the restructuring overseas. Today, however, Atari Europe is no more, now having been officially acquired by Namco Bandai.

Nintendo's most recent financial report has revealed part of the company's release lineup for the next few months. Frontrunners include the Wii MotionPlus-powered Wii Sports Resort and, of course, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Note that these titles are first-party only. Also, this list is far from definitive, so watch out for more Nintendo announcements during E3.
