Don't look now, but it's another four-game batch for this week, with the exclusion of the digital-only releases. This week's biggest titles come from the Watchmen, as they get released into different titles for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively. But hey, if you're into guinea pigs and cartoony RTS, you'd probably like the other two in the bunch. Read up on this edition of On Shelves This Week for more info.

With this week's big guns coming as digital downloads, the games that will actually be on shelves this week won't be beckoning for your cash too hard. This week's MVP goes to NCAA Football 10, which has received some good reviews despite EA's lackluster performance in the last few years. You may not be personally interested in the rest of the list, but someone you know might love to get one as a gift. Who knows?

When Japan gets Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS this fall, players will find that their rating board has given the game a CERO Z rating, which is the Japanese equivalent of ESRB's AO (Adults Only). That part really isn't news since a) all the other GTAs got CERO Z as well, and b) it's GTA. What's worth taking note of here is that GTA: Chinatown Wars will be the first DS game with such a rating.

Minus the digital downloads, this has to be one of the smallest batches we've seen on On Shelves. Talk about a dry batch - no AAA titles in this lineup. Anyway, there's still ArmA II for the PC if you're a die-hard FPS fan, or if you're a baseball fan, 2K Sports' The Bigs is also coming out this week. Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. This is a much, much better line-up for our On Shelves section this week. As in MUCH. One, the Transformers are finally rolling out (unfortch, Megan Fox won't be included in your game purchase). Two, Fight Night Round 4 is also stepping into the ring to knock you out with. Three, The Conduit is also set to make waves on your Wii, and so is the Resident Evil Archives. And of course, the ever-present DS games for the kids. Yes, it doesn't just stop at three. Go ahead, check out what else is there this week.

It was last year when we first heard news about Eidos Interactive bringing the classic dungeon crawler, Gauntlet, to the DS. However, it suddenly disappeared into thin air come early this year. Now, we are receiving word that it just might have been picked up by Majesco Entertainment, as indicated by the ESRB website.

This year's E3 was truly one for the books. After the busy week we had last week, we here at QJ.NET decided to do a little digging to look for 25 excellent games under US$ 25 that were released last year in honor of this year's E3.
