Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. This is a much, much better line-up for our On Shelves section this week. As in MUCH. One, the Transformers are finally rolling out (unfortch, Megan Fox won't be included in your game purchase). Two, Fight Night Round 4 is also stepping into the ring to knock you out with. Three, The Conduit is also set to make waves on your Wii, and so is the Resident Evil Archives. It was last year when we first heard news about Eidos Interactive bringing the classic dungeon crawler, Gauntlet, to the DS. However, it suddenly disappeared into thin air come early this year. Now, we are receiving word that it just might have been picked up by Majesco Entertainment, as indicated by the ESRB website.

This year's E3 was truly one for the books. After the busy week we had last week, we here at QJ.NET decided to do a little digging to look for 25 excellent games under US$ 25 that were released last year in honor of this year's E3. If you just recently acquired your 7th gen console or handheld or if you're just looking for a great game to add in your collection, maybe you can take a look at these games.

No kidding, they sure made up for that drought the past how many weeks. And no, we don't mean just random Dream Series titles for the DS. We're talking real games here! Okay, wanna bet? Try Class of Heroes for the PSP, or the multiplatformer Prototype. You want lots of music? Take your pick from among Guitar Hero on Tour: Modern Hits, Rock Band: Unplugged and Classic Track Pack. How about sports? You're in the mood for some sporty action? We have golf, tennis, racing, pool. Take your pick. It's gonna be a loooooooooong list, so dive in right now for our On Shelves This Week of June 7 to 13, 2009.

When I say there are slim pickings this week, I mean it. The home consoles only get two releases, and there are no new games at all for the Wii and PSP. There's also only one release on PC, but since it's The Sims 3, it's sure to sell a bucketload by its lonesome. The only console not experiencing a game drought this week in the Nintendo DS. There really are no slow release weeks for the DS in terms of quantity, really. Read on for a list of this week's game releases.

We've got quite a batch this week, considering that this is the last week before E3. The list starts with the electrifying new PS3-exclusive, inFamous, which by the way also comes with an 80GB PS3 bundle. Also on the list are two great North American releases after making quite a stir in the East - Crimson Gem Saga and Cross Edge.
