Our source from EBGames/GameStop, Kaizer_911 is back to inform everyone that the Nintendo DSi is now pre-order at all GameStop stores across the US, and only a limited number will be available per store. He also confirmed the Red Xbox 360 console, but only for New Zealand. More details after the link.

Square Enix has announced that the upcoming Nintendo DS title Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker has gone gold. This title is the latest installment in the Dragon Quest Monsters series and is the first to feature online play.

The company has also dropped a reminder about their special pre-order promo. Those who pre-order a copy of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker from participating outlets will get a free Green Bays Screen Wipe.

The freebie item acts as both a screen wiper and navigational map, so you guys might want to check it out. Participating outlets are Amazon.com, EBGames/GameStop, EBGames Canada and GameCrazy.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker was released in Japan late last year and is currently on schedule to meet its November 6 North American release date.

  

Here's a couple of interesting photos for you: We came across these lists supposedly procured by Advance Media Networks' Ray Almeda who allegedly got his hands on lists of DS and Wii releases headed to GameStop and EBGames. Check them out and see if you find anything interesting:

Headlining the Wii is the Resident Evil Wii Edition, The Simpsons: The Game and CSI 4: Hard Evidence. Also in the mix are The Bigs, Harvest Moon Wii and Golden Compass.

The DS also has some tingly titles headed its way here. There seems to be two Mega Man Star Force games coming, Assassin’s Creed (Confirmed), Simpsons: The Game, Golden Compass and a Wi-Fi Dynasty Warriors. Right now it's a little early to tell whether the list holds truth in it but we'll inform you as soon as we dig up more facts.

Xbox recently asked GamerchiX to do a sorta public service for the guys for them to have a clue as to what to gift they should give for their gamer (or wannabe gamer) girlfriends. There were lots of responses which range from the uber expensive (diamonds) to the somewhat sappy (a puppy).

Among the oh-so-many answers to that question, there were nine items that most girls would want to receive from their respective special someones. Well, here they are.

If there are gifts to get, there are also gifts that you shouldn't get. The not-to-get list includes from lingerie (don't dabble on anything that has to do with sizes, unless you want trouble), stuffed animals, crappy clothes, a scale or a gym membership (unless you're the masochistic type or something) among many others.

Judging by the shipping date given by EBGames, and Nintendo's holiday (portable) lineup, the release of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass might just be delayed.

DS lovers were all hoping that the Phantom Hourglass would be given at least a TBA release date. With its obvious absence from the San Diego Comic-Con and EBGames' update of Zelda: PH's shipping date, all hopes of the game coming to the portable by this year have been crushed.

Don't fret; The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will be released, and for sure, we'll all be waiting for that day - even if that day will be sometime in March of next year.
