The Wii menu just got XBL'ed and PSN'ed! Wii owners in Japan who also have a Nintendo DS are in luck. Surprise, surprise: a new Wii menu channel has just gone live! The Everyone's Nintendo Channel gives you access to trailers and interviews, and even turns the Nintendo Wii into some form of DS download station. Yes, the Everyone's Nintendo Channel allows users to download game demos for the Nintendo DS and upload it into the handheld! Sweet! |

Well, Phoenix Wright fans, even if you don't have an English copy of Phoenix Wright 2 yet, you could get a chance at downloading a demo of Phoenix Wright 4 at your nearby DS Download Station. Although it's still in Japanese, it wouldn't hurt to see what the newest Phoenix Wright looks like, right? The demo of the game will be released at the same time that Phoenix Wright 2 will be on sale in Japan, which is on the 26th of October. For this demo, you will already see the new attorney in action and he's defending a criminal that you have tried in Phoenix Wright 2. The case is short, nonetheless, it's enough to give you a glimpse of the game. The download of this game only lasts until November 8, so be sure you go to your nearest DS Download Station before you start on a waiting game again. |

We got word from badam that Nintendo's DS Download Station website has been updated and now shows a "Series 1 Line-Up" and "Series 2 Line-Up". For you curious folks out there, the two-series breakdown is not really a mystery. It just means that if you want to download certain games, you'd have to go to appropriate participating game stores. The Series 1 Line-Up includes Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!, Mario Kart DS, True Swing Golf, Tetris DS, Meteos, Metroid Prime Hunters Movies, and Pokemon Trozei. These titles are available for download exclusively at Target stores. The Series Two Line-Up is available at GameStop, Game Crazy, and Best Buy stores. Titles in this line-up includes Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!, Magnetica, Over the Hedge Movie. Tetris DS, X-Men: The Official Game Movie, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Big Brain Academy. These titles will also be available at Wal-Mart and Toys 'R' Us stores. |

English DS junkies who can tear themselves away from Super Mario Bros or Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training long enough should check out the comprehensive list of DS Download Stations in the UK. There are about 600 stations you can download demos and games from. This list is very useful considering that nobody knows where these hotspots were. As with other DS Download stations in America, Japan, or even the Netherlands, our English friends only need to go into the store, hit download play, and choose a game. DS life is easy with directions! Some blokes who actually browsed through the long list were pleasantly surprised to find that even the little indie shop just across the road is a DS Download hotspot. Who knows, you might just hit the jackpot and discover that the store just a stone's throw away from your pad is your ticket to some cool DS games. The list's really worth checking out. |
