On Shelves This Week - Image 1With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. More can be found in the lengthy full list after the jump.

On Shelves This Week - Image 1Don't look now, but it's another four-game batch for this week, with the exclusion of the digital-only releases. This week's biggest titles come from the Watchmen, as they get released into different titles for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively. But hey, if you're into guinea pigs and cartoony RTS, you'd probably like the other two in the bunch. Read up on this edition of On Shelves This Week for more info.

Time 100 - Image 1Like they say, once you're at the top, there's nowhere to go but down. In Shigeru Miyamoto's case, he went down quite a bit. After being at the top of Time 100 last year, the Nintendo gaming mastermind drops to #42 of Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people from various fields and industries. So who else made it to the list? Find out after the jump.

Best Buy - Image 1If you think ten bucks can only go as far as downloading little games online, think again. Best Buy lives up to its name by holding a major markdown sale of over 50 titles for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and even the PS2, putting games at a must-get price of only US$ 9.99 - or so rumors say. Nintendo Reveals 2009 Lineup - Image 1After a rather tame period of releases from Nintendo (Wii Music failed to rock my world), things may finally be looking up for 2009. They have a lot of games lined-up, including Pokemon Platinum and Chinatown Wars for the DS, while the Wii gets MadWorld and some retro action with GameCube upgrades.
