A lot of people were hoping that the Capcom teaser site was for a new Onimusha game, but the fact that it was accessible from the Sengoku Basara portal kinda weighed the odds in favor of a new Basara game. And so it turned out to be just that.

Mega Man Star Force 3 for the Nintendo DS has now been shipped by Capcom to North American retailers. The game shipped out with two different versions: Black Ace and Red Joker.

Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. Square Enix isn't the only one with a new teaser site. Capcom Japan has also put one up, so for this week we get to wrack our brains about two different upcoming games. No countdown for the Capcom site, though, but there is a number.

Nintendo's going black and red. After two and a half years of White domination in the market, Nintendo is now shipping out black Wii units in an effort to further spruce up market interest in the console. As for their monster-seller handheld, the DSi will be donning a new red shade.

For those who haven't heard yet, Mega Man 2.5D is a fan-made project created by Swedish animator Peter Sjostrand. "2.5D" simply means that the game is right between 2D and 3D, taking Sjostrand's definition of 2.5D of course. This new vid came out earlier today, and for those who grew up with Mega Man like me, seeing MegaMan and ProtoMan work together is fangasm at its finest.

We've got quite a batch this week, considering that this is the last week before E3. The list starts with the electrifying new PS3-exclusive, inFamous, which by the way also comes with an 80GB PS3 bundle. Also on the list are two great North American releases after making quite a stir in the East - Crimson Gem Saga and Cross Edge. The Swine Flu (now officially known as the H1N1 virus) is proving to cause a huge damper on the upcoming E3 festivities. With just literally a couple of weeks before the curtains rise to start what could be the biggest games show of the year, we have attendees going over the list and checking it twice, for fear of the said virus. Capcom Japan would be one such attendee.

The London Movie Comic Media Expo isn't known for its gaming section, with much of its attendees preferring other forms of entertainment. But all that's gonna change this year, or improve at the very least, because apart from the support of some of today's A-list publishers, the London MCM Expo is attempting to set the World Record for "largest number of people in costume for a video game."
