Amazing Race - Image 1I've always wanted to join the Amazing Race, and this is probably the closest chance I'll ever get. Sounds like they're going to go for some LBP-type of co-op gameplay with a partner.

So, any one of you want to pair up with me for the race? Dude, move it, let's go!

Need For Speed - Image 1Here's a small tinge of hope for those who wanted a better Need For Speed title instead of no new NFS game at all: Black Box is not totally shutting down. Also, Criterion is being rumored to be helping with the next NFS title. More after the jump.

Ashe - Image 1Say what?! Gaming is just "one notch up from porn"? Not literally, but seriously, the British parliament pays little attention to the gaming industry, treating it like some cultural minority. As a result, gaming in the UK has gotten so bad that developers from other countries are buying British companies out. More in the full article.

Canada - Image 1Canada's making some waves in the gaming industry as the NPD Group's November numbers reveal that the country has passed CA$ 1.13 billion (US$ 1.11 billion) for their year-to-date revenues. It's nowhere near the US$ 2.63 billion the US chucked out US$ 2.63 billion last month but considering that the Canadian industry rose a staggering 65% from the same period from last year, it's a pretty big achievement and a positive sign that gaming's getting larger than ever.
