When Brash Entertainment shut down, a lot of its projects either went down with it, or were left in the hands of other publishers. This game, featuring the DC Comics speedster, The Flash, was six months into development when it all happened, and what we've got right here is a video showing the potential that could've been realized. |

This is what happens when you don't pay your developers. 7 Studios and Zootfly have sued Brash Entertainment for a sum exceeding one million dollars. Talk about nailing the coffin shut... |

We recently published an article on the 20 staffers Brash had to can
due to economic hardships. Turns out they're so hard up for money that
they've stopped paying their developers altogether. Naturally, this means that a lot of their games, including one unannounced Superman title, are stuck in dev hell. |

Another publisher is forced to lay people off due to the current economic standing of the gaming industry. Brash Entertainment had to sack 20 people across the org chart to reduce costs and maintain a survivable standing. More in the full article. |

It's been a while since we last heard about Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, but it certainly looks like they're coming back with a vengeance. Alvin and the Chipmunks are getting their very own video game, courtesy of Brash Entertainment. GameSpot is reporting that Brash Entertainment LLC will be releasing a rhythm game starring the three chipmunks. The game will reportedly allow you to control Alvin, Simon, and Theodore in rhythm-based gameplay, featuring songs from various artists. GameSpot currently lists "All the Small Things" by Blink 182, "It's Tricky" by Run-D.M.C., "Heartbreak Hotel" by Elvis Presley, "All Star" by Smashmouth, and "Shiny Happy People" by R.E.M. as songs that'll be part of the video game. Of course, how they'll reconcile rock songs with the new hip-hop look is one thing we're interested in seeing. In any case, expect to see this Alvin and the Chipmunks video game on the Wii, DS, PS2, and PC on December 4. |
