Developer BassAceGold has recently announced the release of UAPaint v0.99d, a homebrew app that allows you to create pixel art on your DS. While it's not a full-fledged paint app, you may want to look at the interesting features jam-packed into this app, available for reading in the full article.

BassAceGold has just released his DS homebrew game entry for the PAlib competition, Atari Boxing DS.

Atari Boxing DS is actually a remake of the original boxing game from Atari 2600 and BassAceGold says that this release is just a multiplayer demo.

Here's how it'll work: one person will use the D-pad to control movement and L to punch, while the other will use the A, B, X, and Y buttons as the D-pad and R to punch.

Included in his to-do list for this game is to add AI and, of course, to fix whatever glitches and bugs that users might encounter. This version fixes the collision bugs and also allows you to have a restart match at the end. If you encounter any bugs, make sure you inform BassAceGold about it so he can fix it in the next release.

Do you always forget the number combination of your locker? Well, solution is at hand. Presenting BassAceGold's ComboCracker, an application that can crack the number combination of a three-digit lock using your DS!

Using the ComboCracker is very easy. According to the developer, just enter the last number by using the arrow keys and it will then "split out 100 possible combinations and you try them all on the lock you are trying to open."  You can use the D-pad to scroll thru the list. The last digit is the most crucial element to be able to crack the combination.

The developer also added further help on this one with a step by step solution that's included in the instructions in the downloaded file. This application was successfully tested on a Master Lock Combination Lock. Download the game and test it if it works with other three-digit locks.

Note from the developer: Not every combination has to be entered correctly for the lock to open, therefore not every combination is listed.
