Shigeru Miyamoto himself has said it - they'll be moving along with the
progress of technology and he wants to see games with better graphics.
Couple that with the rumor that a graphically-superior Nintendo DS is
on its way, then perhaps Nintendo has been busying itself with
preparing new hardware. For now, they're working on existing hardware,
turning white controllers black, and enlisting balance boards in the
fight against terrorism. |

Nintendo's going black and red. After two and a half years of White
domination in the market, Nintendo is now shipping out black Wii units
in an effort to further spruce up market interest in the console. As for
their monster-seller handheld, the DSi will be donning a new red shade.

The Wii has been making the news lately, with its different faces
showing up on every corner of the gaming scene. It's getting new
titles, new competition, and let's not forget the new homebrew. The DSi
also makes the scene, eagerly awaiting its US release, only to get a
PMS-ing Sony to unload on the new handheld. This week on The Nintendo
Weekend Warrior: Shattered Memories, uploaded pranks, and hissed-at
handhelds. |

You'd think the Wiimote would be the ultimate controller for shooters, but having to switch between the D-pad and the A button every time you change weapons just makes for clunky gameplay. The solution? Slap a track ball on the A button! And that's just what AcidMods did. Check out a vid of their latest mod after the link. Another thanks to Mark for the tip off! |
