Last week we saw Nintendo lead the pack for the second week in a row as Mario Kart Wii dominated the software charts in Japan. This week tells a very similar story as the wacky go kart racing title racked in an additional 152,000 copies and took the top spot in the Media Create software chart list once again. Read more about the other games on the list in our full article after the jump. |

Below are several screenshots of Tomy's Naruto Shippuden Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu 5 for the Nintendo DS courtesy of the folks of Jeux-France, who in turn found them in Japanese gaming magazine V-Jump. Some of the images below aren't really that recent, and are dated since the 20th of last month. However, since this is our first coverage of this game, we'll be including all of the screens we can find, so you guys have something to check out. This fifth installment in the series is reportedly set to return to a more traditional style of action-platform gameplay, and is also set to feature four-player multiplayer. Naruto Shippuden Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu 5 is expected to hit retail in Japan come July 19. Find more hidden screenshots after the jump! |

The Play-Asia online store has just announced that from March 30 to April 5 next week, it will be holding a special "Crazy Week" sale. The sale will reduce the price of all of Play-Asia's "in-stock" items by 20%. This offer will also stack up with previously discounted products, which should make for serious savings. As an example for the PSP fans, we've spotted copies of Pentavision's DJ Max Portable game up for grabs for US$ 39.92. Also available at the Play-Asia site is the PSP GPS transceiver, which currently sells for US$ 47.92 - players of Konami's Portable Ops game may want to take advantage of this bargain. For the Wii console owners, Play-Asia is selling a spare Wii component AV cable for just US$ 7.99, as well as copies of TOMY's Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX game for just US$ 39.92. Just remember that Wii games are region-coded, and you should be all set. These are just tidbits of the deals that await at Play-Asia's sale. Given that their list is constantly being updated as new stock comes in, we advise readers to keep alert - they just might list that elusive game/paraphernalia they have been looking for. As an important point of clarification, we note that the Play-Asia's "Crazy Week" sale is not valid for items sold at wholesale discount, nor is it valid for the store's weekly specials. There are also various restrictions that may pop up depending on the product you click on. With that said, we wish the readers good fortune on their next buying binge. |

We've got a whole bunch of Naruto: Ninja Council 3 goodness for you guys today. Eleven screenshots, the DS packshot, a look at the front and back covers of the instruction booklet, and best of all, a trailer video. You can check out all the images after the jump, but first, a backgrounder. Tomy Corporation and D3 Publisher's Naruto: Ninja Council 3 for the Nintendo DS handheld gaming system is based on the hit manga and anime series "Naruto" and will hit North America in the Fall. With over 60 different missions, Naruto: Ninja Council 3 delivers ninja action for fans and n00bs alike. It has multiplayer support for up to four players and features an interchangeable attack system. Players can select special jutsu techniques from any of the 21 available characters. Jutsus can be performed with the use of the DS stylus and microphone to complete assigned missions as you battle your way to the top as your favorite character from the show. For a look at how the game runs, check out the trailer below. Just be prepared for some pretty bad voice acting. Screenshots available after the jump! |
