Shigeru Miyamoto himself has said it - they'll be moving along with the
progress of technology and he wants to see games with better graphics.
Couple that with the rumor that a graphically-superior Nintendo DS is
on its way, then perhaps Nintendo has been busying itself with
preparing new hardware. For now, they're working on existing hardware,
turning white controllers black, and enlisting balance boards in the
fight against terrorism. |

He did not say "No." Let's be clear on that one. In an interview with
Nintendo Power, Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo was asked whether or not a
new Kid Icarus game will be coming to the Wii or the DS. His answer: after the jump. |

When you're one of the top game creators from the company that dominated the handheld gaming scene at its infancy, it's only natural that you'd be checking out the latest that the scene has to offer. That's exactly what Shigeru Miyamoto did at E3. The A-list game creator from Nintendo was spotted checking out the newest competition in the handheld scene - the PSP Go, and from the looks of it, he was really checking it out. |

Like they say, once you're at the top, there's nowhere to go but down.
In Shigeru Miyamoto's case, he went down quite a bit. After being at
the top of Time 100 last year, the Nintendo gaming
mastermind drops to #42 of Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential
people from various fields and industries. So who else made it to the list? Find out after the jump. |

Shigeru Miyamoto hears the clamor, and he intends to deliver in a big way. Nintendo's top gaming mastermind is now looking into packing more services for the DS. With fruition, he'd like the gaming platform to have various services, from maps, info-on-the-go, to being a coupon dispenser. More after the jump. |

Nintendo's been pretty quiet lately. Oh sure, they announced Pikmin, the DSi, and GameCube ports, but nothing really... new. Just more of the old stuff with a new layer of shine. Have Miyamoto and Iwata decided to take a break and swim in their money pool?Naw, it's just the calm before the storm. According to Miyamoto, a lot of games for loyal Nintendo fans are in development. Click. |
