One of the pioneers of the memory based flashcarts for the Nintendo DS, the Superacard team has officially announced that they are now developing the next successor of their highly popular Supercard DSONE.

Here's a nice treat for the DKC fans - from the massive melting pot that is YouTube comes two music mash-ups featuring the music from Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3. What's interesting here is that some music across those two titles are actually very similar, and even DKC fans would appreciate the seemless transition between the tracks. Grab your headphones or turn up your speakers - this one's gonna take you back to the good ol' days.

BassAceGold shares his funky DS homebrew music app, Mario Paint Composer DS Paratroopa. This one's an indirect remake of the music composer tool which is originally housed in the SNES game "Mario Paint". Features, changelog, installation procedures and gameplay video after the jump!

Take a stroll down memory lane - back when adventure titles were simple to play and simply to understand. This game is strongly reminiscent of the old Ocarina of Time and some of old Enix's first adventure titles on SNES. Get it for your Nintendo DS right here.

Euro fans, rejoice! Time travel is not the only traveling that Crono and the gang can do - sources have told Eurogamer that the time-traveling kids are going to Europe too. Chrono Trigger DS could come your way this on February 2009. Sure, it's quite a long wait, but hey, there's always the import option. You do, however, get some additional stuff in the game if you wait for the European release.

Square Enix has released the debut trailer of their new DS game, Blood of Bahamut. From the looks of it, they got some inspiration from Team ICO's Shadow of the Colossus. Check out the trailer after the link.
