Shigeru Miyamoto himself has said it - they'll be moving along with the
progress of technology and he wants to see games with better graphics.
Couple that with the rumor that a graphically-superior Nintendo DS is
on its way, then perhaps Nintendo has been busying itself with
preparing new hardware. For now, they're working on existing hardware,
turning white controllers black, and enlisting balance boards in the
fight against terrorism. |

Nintendo's sent out the list of their holiday line-up, and it looks
like their Christmas goodie bags are bursting at the seams with their
holiday offerings - even without those Christmas lights turned on yet.
Included in the list are much-awaited titles like Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and a new Castlevania title for WiiWare. |

Nintendo's going black and red. After two and a half years of White
domination in the market, Nintendo is now shipping out black Wii units
in an effort to further spruce up market interest in the console. As for
their monster-seller handheld, the DSi will be donning a new red shade.

Oohhh-kay. That went relatively well, wouldn't you say? Nintendo's E3
2009 presentation wasn't just all about smiles this time around. They
did try to be harder-hitting,
and we gotta give them props for that. Overall, it was... alright.
About one or two items only that got us kinda raising our voices a decibel higher in excitement. |

Last month, Nintendo was told by the courts to pay Anascape Ltd. the amount of US$ 21 million for patent infringement. They appealed to have the verdict reduced, and now the decision is out. Read more after the jump. |

Namco Bandai's Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master in the US) may take the waggling route with this announcement: the game producer revealed that the Nintendo Wii will finally have its own Taiko no Tatsujin title. But that's not the only new title that's going to hit production soon; Namco Bandai's Tales series will also have another iteration for the Nintendo DS. More in the full article. |

It would seem that THQ is in an experimental mood. Perhaps due to the trouble it has received at the hands of a wrestling company, the video game publisher has decided to switch to cheerleaders instead. Yes, you heard us right. THQ has announced what is supposed to be the first-ever cheerleading video game: All Star Cheer Squad. Look for more "cheery" news after the jump. |
