Some people were surprised during the recent E3 2008 event, when Nintendo announced one of its upcoming DS games will include an actual Grand Theft Auto title. During an interview conducted by MTV Multiplayer, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime explains the details of how that particular deal between the GTA creators came about. Last month, Nintendo was told by the courts to pay Anascape Ltd. the amount of US$ 21 million for patent infringement. They appealed to have the verdict reduced, and now the decision is out. Read more after the jump.

Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime announced earlier this month that the Nintendo DS will be getting downloadable content through its Wi-Fi service, a feature that will be prominent in Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
