You can really feel the gaming expo heat building up when more and more publishers start handing out their lineups. We've seen quite a lot of games coming to TGS 2009 by now, and adding to that list is Namco Bandai, bringing games from franchises that the merged companies are well-known for.

Naruto fans, check this out. Joystiq is giving away two copies of Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 for the Nintendo DS, which comes with Konoha forehead protectors. The Naruto games have gotten a bit quiet as of late, so here's a little something for the fans of the Shadow-Cloning ninja - it's the US debut trailer for the Shippuden game, Naruto: Ninja Destiny for the Nintendo DS.

Tomy promised to show us three Naruto games last time, here's one of them - Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 for the Nintendo DS. Starring in today's batch of vids are the members of the Sasuke-less Team 7, now known as Team Kakashi. If you've been looking for a gameplay vid for this sidescroller, you've got it.

When I say there are slim pickings this week, I mean it. The home consoles only get two releases, and there are no new games at all for the Wii and PSP. There's also only one release on PC, but since it's The Sims 3, it's sure to sell a bucketload by its lonesome. The only console not experiencing a game drought this week in the Nintendo DS. Tomy Corporation has already started making a bigger presence for themselves in the games industry, moving past mere publishing and into actual sales and distribution for their Naruto games. Looking for a cool fighting game to hit the Nintendo DS soon? Naruto: Ninja Destiny (Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden) looks like a good pick. It has some of the best fighting game graphics on the platform along with the trademark Naruto universe brand of action.
