We posted an article one month ago that invited readers to do a little thought exercise. Here's what we said: "On
the 5th of November we're going to post an article or two about video
games, gadgets, technology, and general geekness ... the things about
video gaming and technology that ought not be forgotten."So here's our list of some video gaming and technology moments worth remembering. Hope this gets you thinking (and feeling nostalgic too!). And we look forward to your comments (and arguments). What do you remember and wish that the world will never forget? |

Biker Mice from Mars was an animated television series created by Rick Ungar that began airing in 1993 in the United States and lasted for around three seasons. The show was well, about mice from Mars (obviously) and they (yeah you guessed it) rode around on bikes. Let's move on.
It was announced a while back that, Biker Mice from Mars is coming to the DS from The Game Factory as a nice action-adventure game. While we've already posted some early footage of the game we hope you enjoy this video of gameplay montage. |

Originally, Biker Mice from Mars is an animated television series created by Rick Ungar that began airing in 1993 in the United States and lasted for three seasons before it was cancelled. It is about three humanoid motorcyclist mice named Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie who escaped a war on their home planet Mars and eventually end up crash landing on Earth in the City of Chicago. Now they are on their way to burn rubber on your Nintendo DS (and PlayStation 2) as The Game Factory gave a press release that Biker Mice From Mars is indeed coming out to the next-gen handheld console. The storyline revolves around the effort of the three leather-clad Biker Mice - Throttle the cool leader, Vinnie the fun daredevil, and Modo the gentle giant to stop Hairball, leader of the ruthless feline race ‘the Catatonians’, and Ronald Rump, an evil corporate land developer, from capturing the Regenerator for their own evil purposes. Mission begins on Earth and players can play as Throttle, Vinnie, or Modo in a race through the streets of Chicago, in ‘driving’ mode, blasting enemies through the way, performing insane jumps, and ending up in Mars where both panets' existence relies on the Biker Mice. The DS version is packed with eight racing and Melee combat missions and players have the ability to 'powerslide' their way around high speed tracks to defeat enemies and bosses and perform huge jumps across Chicago Freeways and Martian Plains. You can also pick up ad us weapons and objects as you brawl Melee style. There are no info on the release date yet, but for the meanwhile, here are four screenshots from the ps2">ps2">PS2 version (just so you'll get an idea of how the new Biker Mice from Mars game will look like even on DS) and the temporary packshot for Europe: |

Biker Mice from Mars, originally a 1993 animated TV series, is about three Martian mice named Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie who escaped from a war on their home planet and went to Chicago. In the Windy City, they meet female mechanic named Charlene "Charley" Davidson and discover that Earth is under threat from Plutarkians - a fish-like race, who exploit other planets for natural resources. And it's up to Charley and the Martian biker mice to foil the fish-heads evil intention.
Although not a long-lived series, Biker Mice from Mars was turned into a racing video game by Konami for the Super NES in 1994. This year The GameFactory picked it up for the PS2 and DS for future release. We came upon a YouTube video claiming to be the first footage for the DS version of Biker From Mars, the authenticity of which we can't confirm nor deny at this time. But it's still a good watch so we posted it anyway: |
