I guess DS homebrew dev Snatcher was feeling a little nostalgic, so he remade the Atari 2600 Seaquest that he used to learn Lua. It's another addictive shoot 'em up, try it out.Download: Seaquest DS v0.8 |

One of the good thing about the Lua programming language is its portability. One of the latest platforms it has decided to step on is the Nintendo DS. Developer samy recently released a homebrew Lua editor, which allows you directly code Lua scripts on the handheld system. More details after the jump.Download: Lua Editor DS 1.0 |

In old days, people would just pick up a book and read it. With today's audio technology, however, it seems that listening to books is the "in" thing these days. If you'd like to do exactly that with your Nintendo DS, let Jens Andersson's Hyena v1.02 AudioGame Player help you. Lend a listening ear to the full article, right after the jump.Download: Hyena v1.02 |

Heads up guys! The DSLua team is back, with a no crew to boot. From now on, Sypherce, Daltonlaffs, and Jeremysr will be handling DSLua. In fact, they just released DSLua v0.6. For those who aren't in the know, this homebrew app allows DS users to access the Lua structure, paving the way for more innovative games using the Lua script.Anyway, this one has a Wi-Fi function library, script auto-start (behaves like an actual DS homebrew program), new system and stylus functions, and a microphone library. According to Jeremysr, this version has also been compiled with newer versions of PAlib and devkitPro, making Lua programs run faster. Jeremysr adds that DSLua still comes in CF (the CF version uses LibFATDragon and comes with grey, green, and blue versions for compatibility with other homebrew devices) and GBFS flavors.
