Fans of old-school adventure will take a liking to the latest revision of homebrew developer Kukulcan's Escape, a 'brewed adventure game where players find themselves struggling to survive on an uninhabitable island, finding a way to get the ticket out by bartering (or killing) its natives. If you like the idea of spending your time playing anime-themed slots on a dual-screen handheld, then you can try it out with the newest release of Cid2Mizard's Lucky Slot DS (created with the help of another homebrew developer, Kukulcan). Homebrew developer Kukulcan has released yet another amusing puzzle title based on the port of the indie PC game Xump. The results of the PDRoms Coding Competition 3.99 have finally been released. For those who haven't been following this contest, there were quite a number of really good entries from the community but in the end one developer came out on top. The name Kukulcan shouldn't be too hard to recognize for those of you who are familiar with the Nintendo DS homebrew scene. If you've played the rather risque puzzle game Virus DS by kukulcan, then the homebrew developer has released a special Christmas edition for the game to herald the holidays with its virus-busting fun. The new build features up to 20 new levels as well as new Christmas-themed graphics and interface.

Homebrew developers Redbug and KuKulcan have released CrocoDS 2.0 for the Nintendo DS. In case you aren't familiar with this application, it is an Amstrad CPC emulator that was based on the PC-CPC emulator from demoniak. This application will run on any Nintendo DS with a linker that supports DLDI.
