Koch Media and System 3 are cooking up Ferrari Challenge (Wii, DS) with a promise that the Wii version will have "the most accurate motion-sensing steering yet seen on the revolutionary console." We have no idea how the DS version will hold up, or even if how accurate exactly the game will be given little details we know, but we stumbled upon screenshots at least. From what we can see, both iterations of Ferrari Challenge are making good use of their respective platforms. Sharp car models and lively environments represent the Wii version. The DS version is utilizing both screens, with competent graphics comparable to the best we've seen for the handheld. We share the sentiments of all racing fans excited to see a flaming hot Ferrari in action, so we'll keep our eyes peeled. Check out these screens for now; updates are sure to follow, so watch this space.

Trading paint is in an entirely new league when you're driving a Ferrari, and it's the dream of almost every kid to take these gorgeous rides for a spin. Koch Media and System 3 knew this, and decided to make Ferrari Challenge (PS3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS). As promised, the game made a debut at Games Convention 2007 in Leipzig.
The video sure teased our senses even if it clocked just over a minute. The cars look great and tracks are well crafted - what else do you need before getting the urge to step on the gas and break speed limits? Brief gameplay footage doesn't really tell us how the game will run though, but those wheels sure are moving fast. Expect Ferrari Challenge to reach the shelves this November 23. So far, we know that the game will be as realistic as possible and will deliver a true Ferrari experience. Here's the PS3 trailer that rocked convention grounds: |

Just about anyone, automotive buff or not, has dreamed of driving a Ferrari and getting his freak on with it on a freeway. Koch Media and System 3 are making that happen very soon with the coming of their new game, The Ferrari Challenge. The title isn't ready to roll out of the garage yet, but Koch Media has already announced that it will be distributing System 3's multi-million euro project in all German and French-speaking territories in the European market. "The distribution reach of Koch media was never in question, but we needed a company that understands our marketing strategy and has the resource to realise our plans," says System 3 CEO Mark Cale. "Koch has shown the level of commitment that we were looking for and we’re delighted to be working with them on this key launch." Fans of Ferrari cars should be satisfied with the level of authenticity that the game will carry as the car maker has made an active and concerted effort to scrutinize the development and see to it that the experience is as realistic as possible. The release date for The Ferrari Challenge is yet to be determined, but it has been confirmed that it will have distinct versions for the Sony PlayStation, Sony PSP, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS platforms. |

Koch Media has signed a distribution deal with Virgin Play for the games Dead'n'Furious and Final Armada in the UK. Both games are said to be coming out in the fourth quarter of this year. The Managing Director of Koch Media Craig McNicol seems to be very thrilled about the entire proposition saying that, "it’s our [Koch Media UK's] aim to expand our console portfolio with quality titles, and the new products on DS and PSP from Virgin Play are great games to get excited about". The Managing Director of Virgin Play Francisco Encinas, shares the same thoughts. He noted that "Wew are very pleased to have found the best possible partner to distribute our products in the UK. We are confident that this will be the beginning of a long and prosperous relationship for both companies." So what exactly does Dead 'n' Furious and Final Armada bring to gamers? Dead 'n' Furious, developed for the Nintendo DS by Dream On Studios has been called a "tribute to the House of the Dead" series. After checking out some of the awesome screenshots and reading up on the game play options, it looks like this game is going to be a killer. This game is essentially like an arcade shooter where you kill zombies by blasting their heads off. Your character is taken along a predefined path as you point and shoot with a stylus. Final Armada for the PSP and the PS2 is a different story altogether. This one is about big mecha-like vehicles battling to the death. To be honest the visuals on this one are absolutely stunning. No word on how polished the gameplay is yet, but if it plays like it looks, then it'll be worth buying. |

Koch Media has been known as a PC developer, but it's now ready to expand and enter the console and handheld arena. It's doing just that in a big way using a two-pronged strategy that it hopes will fulfill its ambitions.Koch chose the Nintendo Wii and DS platforms for obvious reasons: the two have large and rapidly growing install bases which cater to gamers of all ages. In that respect, the firm went on a major acquisition drive to pave the right avenues in bringing games to gamers on their own terms. A big financial premium was given to the Deep Silver label to publish the titles and projects that they'll be working on. The company believes that consumers will recognize the brand, making the introduction of their wares easier. Assigned director of acquisitions is no less than ex-Nintendo head of European developer business Marko Hein. Hein is described as the upstart publisher's "go to guy" for his experience in the field. Koch says that its ambitions include not only bringing games across platforms, but becoming market leaders in the long run. With Deep Silver, a two-year spectrum was laid out to accomplish a primary set of goals. |

Mystery fans with Nintendo DS in their pockets and Wii consoles beside their TVs may have another reason to celebrate - and no, it's not about Phoenix Wright 3's release schedule suddenly getting bumped up to today. It's about Secret Files: Tunguska and the announcement from Koch Media of the game being ported in Ninty handheld and console form. Sweet.
Featuring a deep storyline revolving around a disaster in the Tunguska region in Siberia, players will follow the worldwide adventures of Nina and Max as they try to unravel the mystery behind Nina's missing father, the Tunguska Catastrophe, and the underlying connection between the two of them. Sporting an innovative touchscreen control system for the Nintendo DS and a revamped, remastered graphics engine for both versions, players will find themselves lost for hours on end in the immersive experience that is Secret Files: Tunguska. And players itching to tackle the mystery head-on won't have to wait that long, with the DS version slated to be released around Q4 of 2007, while the Wii version on Q1 of next year. Not that long a wait for a game that's been a long time coming. While we all wait with bated breath, however, here's some screenshots to give you a taste on what Secret Files: Tunguska looks like on the DS' dual screen. Enjoy! |
