Here's another movie turned video game from Luxoflux and Activision: Kung Fu Panda (PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS). Play the role of Po the Panda as he trains with five of the best Kung Fu masters in China to fulfill his destiny of becoming the Dragon Warrior. School of Rock star Jack Black once sang, "Math is wonderful thing." Well, we can't help but agree. After all, Mathematics indeed is the universal language. It crosses, more than anything else, language barriers. Take for example this little piece of information we came across today. We got it from a French site claiming they got it from a Japanese magazine. Weird, huh?

It's a good thing though that the news is about the development percentage that certain Square Enix titles are currently in now. The PS2 version of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is well over finish at 130%. But since they are doing two plays, a little more refinement is necessary.

Unfortunately, fans of the Final Fantasy series would have to wait for a longer period of time as the next-gen versions are still far from the 50% mark (Final Fantasy XIII - 13%;  Final Fantasy Versus XIII - 1.3%). Furthermore, DS titles Itadaki Street and Final Fantasy XII Ghost Wings are already halfway done.

Majesco has announced the official game to the movie Nacho Libre, set for release in theaters soon. It will also be the first US wrestling game for the handheld. Budcat Creations, responsible for the Playstation 2 port of Psychonauts is developing the game and has said that their work will be inspired by the wrestling games AKi did for the Nintendo 64 (WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF No Mercy).

In Nacho Libre, players can select their favourite from more than 11 luchadores, one of them being the Jack Black-played Nacho, complete with his voice from the movie. Features of the game will include four different play modes, wireless matches for up to four players, a bunch of mini-games based on the DS touch screen features, and many different arenas taken from the film. Fights themselves will be varied and fun as players choose from a multitude of exaggerated wrestling moves and attacks.

Lucha Libre, in case you didn't know, essentially refers to Mexican professional wrestling, a highly popular sport in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries. While there has never been a game directly dedicated to it (or at least I'm not aware of one), it's traces can be found in tons of other games - Lisa from Dead Or Alive 4 originates from the sport, so does El Blaze from Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken's King.

Nacho Libre: The Game is slated for an October 2006 release.
