20 years after Nintendo launched the Game Boy, the immensely popular
portable gaming device has now been inducted into the National Toy Hall
of Fame, joining the ranks of an elite list of legendary playthings. An
honor well-deserved. Seeking to continue their hardware success,
Nintendo has had another busy week, topped off with updates from three
of their biggest execs. |

Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward director for Call of Duty is apparently unhappy - to say the least - with Activision's Noah Heller. Why? Because according to him, Heller doesn't know what he's talking about and that he shouldn't pitch World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) by comparing it with the previous CoD installments. More slammin' happening at the full article. |

In the video game industry, it's important not to rest on one's laurels. Activision probably knows this. In spite of the fact that its Q4 and fiscal year 2008 financial reports have shown encouraging results, the company is already planning its next ventures in the near future. This was evident in the company's recent conference call. More lucrative news follows after the jump. |
