Pikmin - Image 1Pikmin game coming soon? Let's do the time warp for a bit and recall Shigeru Miyamoto's words back at E3 2008. "We're making Pikmin" is all that he said pertaining to the much-requested sequel to the GameCube original franchise. Now here comes Edge Magazine with a full-page ad for their 203rd issue. The ad itself is just a shot of a patch of grass, but some eagle-eyed observers have noted that in the top-right hand corner, there's a little purple blob that resembles a Pikmin.

Nintendo Reveals 2009 Lineup - Image 1After a rather tame period of releases from Nintendo (Wii Music failed to rock my world), things may finally be looking up for 2009. They have a lot of games lined-up, including Pokemon Platinum and Chinatown Wars for the DS, while the Wii gets MadWorld and some retro action with GameCube upgrades.

Shigeru Miyamoto - Image 1Nintendo's been pretty quiet lately. Oh sure, they announced Pikmin, the DSi, and GameCube ports, but nothing really... new. Just more of the old stuff with a new layer of shine. Have Miyamoto and Iwata decided to take a break and swim in their money pool?

Naw, it's just the calm before the storm. According to Miyamoto, a lot of games for loyal Nintendo fans are in development. Click.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars game adaptation heading to DS, Wii - Image 1 May the Force be with Wii. And DS. That's what a posted advertisement tells us after plastering Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in their CGI movie form together with logos of the Wii and DS. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is based on the same cartoon series Star Wars fans had watch before seeking out Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in theaters or DVD. Closure reasons, surely. If you've missed the cartoon, you might want to reconsider missing the game adaptation of the cartoon's CGI movie remake. More at the full story.
