Developer Visual Impact found some good use for the DSi's camera and integrated it into their new game, System Flaw. The feature basically adds the game on top of what otherwise be your normal camera mode, so you'll have to move your camera (and yourself) around in order to hunt aliens down. |

Bad week for Nintendo. Not only did their Wii price cut fail to send
those numbers flying, but they even coughed out a System Update from
gaming hell. Early this week, those who updated their Nintendo Wii got
a rather unpleasant surprise. The update, which deletes homebrew, also
left a lot of bricked Wiis in its wake. Realizing it was their fault,
Nintendo is quick to try and remedy the situation by giving free
repairs. Catch the whole story and more right here. |

If you're hoping to transfer your DSiWare purchases to additional DSi
machines, we're sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you can't.
Nintendo has revealed via Eurogamer that this just isn't possible as
your Nintendo DS wares - games or applications - are exclusive only for
the type of system they were brought on. |

It's been a while since we've heard of any industry-related job cuts,
and for some time back there, it looked like everything was getting
back on the right track. Then we get this. Square Enix Japan is being rumored to be getting ready to bring down the axe on some 200 to 300 jobs in their company. |

After weeks of denying rumors and trying to keep up with the console
pricing, Nintendo finally confirms the Wii price cut, though
unfortunately the UK isn't getting one. Still, in the words of that
counselor from The New Guy, "I'm sorry to tell you that denial is not
just a river in Egypt." Different context, I know, but the
deny-and-confirm-later-anyway routine is really catching on. Speaking
of catching, you can catch up with all the things Nintendo right here. |
