Adding DLC on Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) is not the only thing that Square Enix is taking into consideration. Yoshi Kitase reveals that they are in fact considering putting downloadable content to future Final Fantasy titles. Read more after the jump.

Ubisoft rolls with the punches once more. Following yesterday's announcement of a full lineup of pre-order freebies, they're now officially announcing via press release their intentions of bringing downloadable content for the game! (Heh. Looks like Ben Mattes jumped the gun on the press release the other day.) We also hear of a new developer diary for the game, as well as a revamp of Ubisoft's official website for PoP.

Big things up for Square Enix! They've just set up shop in LA, and in an interview, SE US president John Yamamoto has confided their plans: the LA studio is going digital. He also revealed the general direction the corporation is going - global markets and what not. But in what could be called as one of the boldest statements ever made in the industry, he's already declaring the exclusivity war officially over. Like whoa.

The Prince is already getting more royal bling-bling. Ubisoft is getting busy with DLC that'll add "significant value" to Prince of Persia (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS). Producer Ben Mattes sits down with Gamersyde to talk about their new title.

Looks like it'll be a Grand Theft Auto-less holiday season. According to Take-Two Interactive, both the Xbox 360-exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV DLC and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS have been delayed.

According to Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith, here will be an increased focus on downloadable content in Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS). With their strong library of annual franchises, Electronic Arts has gone out on a limb to say that games have longer lifespans today.
