Let me start by clarifying that this is in no way a Nintendo marketing attempt for the New Super Mario Bros. Wii
coming out on November 15th (WTF if this is). This happened for real. Two guys
dressed up as Mario and Luigi (presumably for Halloween), plus one
other suspect, are now wanted by the police for assault and robbery on a
poor cabbie. |

The new DSi LL may have a few features that previous models don't, but about the only feature that really sticks out is that it's larger. We've seen portables get smaller and smaller, but here we have a handheld that deliberately put on some extra weight so that granma can get in on the young'uns' toys. Watch the info trailer right here. |

The musical virtuosos at OverClocked ReMix are up to some monkey
business. Serious Monkey Business, in fact. That's the name of their
latest project still in the works, which is the re-imagination of the
music of Donkey Kong Country 2. |

Shortly after their acquisition of Playfish, Electronic Arts is set to streamline operations, sacking 1,500 employees from different levels, and canning 12 unannounced projects. Speaking in an investor conference call, chief financial officer John Brown gave out the details. |

Developer Visual Impact found some good use for the DSi's camera and integrated it into their new game, System Flaw. The feature basically adds the game on top of what otherwise be your normal camera mode, so you'll have to move your camera (and yourself) around in order to hunt aliens down. |

20 years after Nintendo launched the Game Boy, the immensely popular
portable gaming device has now been inducted into the National Toy Hall
of Fame, joining the ranks of an elite list of legendary playthings. An
honor well-deserved. Seeking to continue their hardware success,
Nintendo has had another busy week, topped off with updates from three
of their biggest execs. |

Before the days of the PSP and the DS, only one name came to mind when it came to portable gaming - the Nintendo Game Boy. Since its launch in 1989, the Game Boy made its mark in the gaming industry, pioneering a new level in portable gameplay. For its contributions and millions of satisfied users, the Museum of Play has now honored the handheld by including it in its National Toy Hall of Fame. |

As if a new Zelda game isn't enough, Nintendo is sweetening the purchase of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks in Japan with a cool bonus. For those picking this up at Day 1, you'll be getting a neat feather stylus for your Nintendo DS. |

If gaming was a religion and it put up a gaming church, then you would definitely find this stained glass design on its windows. Toad has been seen in all sorts of memorabilia, but how often do you see gaming characters on stained glass? |
