Those of you who were disappointed with the dual versions of Mega Man Battle Network might want to brace yourselves before reading this article. Not only will Rockman Rebirth not follow the first MMBN game in being a single version, there will be three versions! That's right, Rockman Rebirth is beating Pokemon at its own game! The three versions will be "Ice Pegasus," "Fire Leo," and "Green Dragon." Yes. They are very interesting choices. Mega Man (or Rockman in Japan) will be able to go through three different transformations. I assume each transformation is exclusive to the respective version. Capcom has signed a deal with McDonald's to sell Mega Man toys in Happy Meals. This is most likely only for Japan. They are also working on a manga that will be published in Coro Coro Comics, much like the Mega Man Battle Network manga that was published before. The game will be out in Japan this December. |

Some lucky Rockman ZX owners are also owners of a special DVD. What does this DVD contain you ask? Well, something seems to have been uploaded to YouTube pretty quickly. Seeing as it is unavailable outside Japan, we figured we'd better let you look at it! It's a trailer for the upcoming sequel series to Mega Man Battle Network. Currently, it is named "Rockman Rebirth."
The only thing we can tell from the trailer is that the new battle system is more "3D" and that the characters are all new but seem to be based off the character designs from the GBA Battle Network games. Check it out! Adblock |

Japanese DS magazine, Nintendo Dream, have published details and pictures for 12 forthcoming DS games. The scans below show off the game's details, however they are in Japanese. They are definitely worth a look just for the screenshots, game graphics and art.
There's 10 more games covered in the Full Article, check it out! |

Capcom has opened up their official website for Rockman ZX. It contains new art and screenshots as well as some information for Japanese Battle Network fans. There will be a tournament for that series (Rockman.EXE in Japan) soon! Anyway, the site being opened means that the game should be shipping sooner rather than later. Rockman ZX will be shown at E3 this year, likely as Mega Man ZX. |

There is no doubt about it that the Nintendo DS is a booming handheld system, thats even blowing the consoles out of the waters in sales. Nintendo is doing this by releasing great games for the DS. Unfortunately one of the better looking, upcoming DS titles has been set back. This game is Tales of the Tempest. It was due for June 8th of this year. The new release date is now just 2006. To make up for this devastating blow to the title line up for the DS, Capcom announced the release date for Rockman ZX. The date for Rockman ZX is July 6th in Japan (thankfully the DS is region free), also on this date Brave Story will be released. Also along with new game release dates, we have a few cheaper re-releases. Ganbare Goemon, Castlevania, and Survivial Kids are going to be re-released in Japan June 29th at 2940 yen (roughly $25). |

Nintendo is currently in a conference with retailers in Tokyo. They have given a release schedule for a few games. Metroid Prime Hunters, an American-made game, will be released soon even though we have it already. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Goemon DS are receiving the budget treatment. The other games will be released for the first time in the world. Thanks to The Magic Box, we have more details (OK, just a smattering of them) and a few new images of Capcom's action game Rockman ZX for Nintendo DS. In addition to what we reported here, this is a 2D side-scrolling action game with a new cast of characters and choice of heroes.
Here are the logo and some screenshots for you to ogle. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
