We've been so attuned to the hardware sales charts the past couple of weeks, thanks to Media Create, so for a change, let's veer our sights to softwares. For the week of September 14-20, Pokemon Soul Silver and HeartGold take spots number 1 and 2, respectively.

Here's another Pokemon milestone, straight from the Pokemon-loving shores of Japan. In just two little days from release, the latest DS Pokemon installments, HeartGold and SoulSilver, have already fetched over 1.4 million copies sold.

Finally, Nintendo of America has made an announcement on Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver and it's good news. To be released in Japan next month, it is now Nintendo's pleasure to bring the word that these two games will finally be available to North America and Europe as well come Spring of 2010. Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon remakes, Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It's pretty cool seeing your main Pokémon, which follows you around on screen, break rocks and stuff in the game world. We also have some details on the pre-order goodies Nintendo is cooking up.

Those who have been playing Pokemon games since the late 90s may remember the Pokemon Pikachu, a pedometer (that's peDOmeter, not PEdometer) that could unlock data on the original Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal games. For the Gold and Silver DS remakes, Nintendo is once again bundling a pedometer with the games, this time calling it the PokeWalker.
