Why play as Indiana Jones if you can go racing through jungles and ruins as rogue pilot Han Solo himself? Yes, LucasArts has revealed that Han Solo - or, at least, a costume/skin for Indy - will be crossing over to Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings as a playable character. I'm not sure if hiding your relics in a booby-trapped dungeon was all the rage back in Moses' time, but yeah, sure enough, the story behind Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings involves looking for that sea-parting stick of glory. Here's a developer's diary exploring more of that idea - how'd Indy end up looking for Moses' staff anyway?

Previously listed with a May 22 release, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is now slated for a June release. No reason was given for the delay, but I heard from the grapevine that Indy slipped on a banana peel. My sources are very reliable.

After years of absence, the new Indiana Jones game is suddenly the next big thing from LucasArts, and will even grace the cover of next month's Nintendo Power. The studio has finally whipped out new details on the Staff of Kings after teasing us with their new trailer.
