DS - Image 1DS homebrew developer FluBBa is back with the latest update for his emulator, the S8DS v0.3. To those who have yet to hear of this project, it's basically a port of SMSAdvance to the NDS, and is a Sega emulator for the said handheld.

Nintendo Weekend Warrior - Image 1 Nintendo's still not giving in to the lures of a price drop, and really, why should they? They have the two bestselling consoles in this generation, both home and handheld. If you think about it, they can afford to keep the Wii at its price point. The good thing though is that this week, they've started making a few concessions. Well one, really. DS homebrew - Woopsi - Image 1Woopsi is a handy dandy GUI library made by Antony Dzeryn for those who want to make their own Nintendo DS homebrew. According to the dev, the interface here is modeled after the AmigaOS windowing system. You can check out the changelog for this release along with some screenshots in the full article.

Video - Acekard flash cart running on DSi - Image 1Nintendo's cracking down hard on hacking, but hackers are working just as hard to crack their consoles. While the Wiibrew community's working on cracking the latest Firmware Update, the Acekard team made some progress running their flash cart on the DSi.

Nintendo confirms R4 DSi incompatibility - Image 1We've known about this for some time, but now we get official confirmation from Nintendo that the DSi is indeed incompatible with the R4 flashcart. Guess they're getting serious.
