It sure must make a whole lot of things easier if developers can just automatically convert game codes from one platform to another, right? If this is the picture we're looking at, then we should go ahead and talk to Square Enix about it. After all, they're doing it already. Their first sample: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (Wii and DS).

Square Enix has given out a North American release date for their upcoming RPG title, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Both the Wii and DS versions of the latest entry in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series will be in the US this March.

Heads up to all gamers in Europe and PAL territories out there. Square Enix just announced via presswire that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time will be making its way to the regions not till Spring of 2009 - that's for both the Wii and DS versions.
