Common Sense DS Adult Training site

A game to improve your common sense. That's exactly what Common Sense DS Adult Training is about. Although it targets the Japanese market, that doesn't stop us from being curious at just what the game has to offer. Just our luck, Nintendo has finally opened the official site - which is in Japanese - for Common Sense DS Adult Training and we swooped there to take a peek.

The Common Sense DS Adult Training site offers screenshots. Also in there are info on the game, labelled "Diagnosis", "Training Menu", "Everyone", and "WiFi". We're sure more will be added into the site to cater to all the fans. So whether you've been itching to get this game or you're still thinking whether it's worth your bucks, head over to the site (link below) and get your fill of this DS game.

You really have to love Japanese translation web sites. It makes trying to understand the Japanese language and culture so much more amusing. Where else can you find a game that trains you to increase your "sensible power?"

Driver is on the left, so the places with dots are the free spots.Yep. Only in Japan.

The game we're referring to is Common Sense DS Adult Training. If you think Nintendo's made another weird game, you're probably right... if you're not really from Japan and don't understand their culture so well. It's a game that teaches you the finer points of common sense (or sensible power) and teaches you the manners you have to adopt in the Japanese business scene. It will also quiz you on business and IT terms.

How "Japanese" is it? Well, here's a sample question translated by the folks at Kotaku. Situation: You and your three business associates are going to take a taxi. Given the four free seats on the taxi, who would sit where if you were to think in order of superiority in the company?

At least, it might become a hit if parents started buying the game for their kids to brainwash them into mindless corporate drones! Now, we're not sure if it will be a big hit in the US and other countries, but at least it makes for interesting translation.

Who wouldn't want an English version of the game called "Sensible Power Training DS of the Adult who Supervision Japanese Sensible Power Official Approval Association After so long a time Cannot be Heard in the Person?"

If you don't believe us, check out the source link and translate it with babelfish.altavista.com and see what you get. Expect your common sense to be shot to hell come October 26, and pray you don't ever have to get in a car with your boss.
