Are you a dirty cheater looking for your fix in New Super Mario Bros.? Well, call me a drug dealer because I've got the stuff you need... Slashing Games has revealed that the classic Koopa shell trick of getting 99 lives has been revived. The instructions are as follows:

Go to World 2-4. At the end of the level you will see a Koopa walking down the steps that lead to the flagpole. Jump on him but don't kick the shell off the steps. Place yourself on the step directly below the step that the Koopa shell is on. Hug the step. Now, simply jump up in the air without touching the D-pad. You'll start to bounce on the shell. You’re done now! Wait until the desired 1-Up number is reached.

The video above demonstrates this exploit. That's right, Papa Smurf just hooked you up.

Aibohack recently made an update to a PC program that enables you to edit your Animal Crossing: Wild World save file. This program, ran in .exe form, will allow the user to edit their Animal Crossing: WW map to their hearts content. This is the most comprehensive map editor for Animal Crossing, and is a must have for Action Replay owners and/or a homebrew-enabled NDS. The map editor will accept either .duc files or .sav files (.duc are save files from Action Replay). The changes in this version include:
  • Find item/feature (search by name)
  • Display town name and resident name (English or Japanese)
  • Modify other residents (player slots 2,3 and 4). Turn on Advanced mode, and use the "Next Resident" menu item.
  • Clarify TownTypes
  • Boondox donation totals (advanced mode, English game)
  • Limits on bank totals
  • Clean up some item names
  • Japanese User Interface (not 100%, some English). Thanks to 'panyawo' for some translations.
  • Japanese Game: neighbor edit (species, personality, room contents)
  • Japanese Game: advanced world edit (move houses etc)

Imaha486 has made a cheat program a.k.a. "Pro Action Replay" for Project Dipstar. He has applied the MKDS-Patch and it reads the cheat code which is stored in the SRAM. (Max 126 codes / 4 pages). You need a PassMe (or PassKey) and FlashCart.

The author states, "PassMe,PassKey,PassKey2 or MAGICKEY/MK2 is good! :) But, EZ-PASS,SUPERPASS or PassMe2 is bad. Moreover, the FlashCart which doesn't use a loader is necessary. EZ-FLASH or USBLine is good! M3,G6,SuperCard,GBALink,etc... is bad.." Just to clarify, bad = doesn't work with PD cheat device.

Parasyte over at GSCentral has discovered some very interesting things whilst tinkering with his Mario Kart game. Nintendo began remaking extra courses for Mario Kart DS, including Mario Circuit named "old_mario_gc" from Double Dash, an early beta Waluigi Pinball (presumably) named "luigi_course", and several more.

Of course, these courses don't contain textures, but Parasyte is working on it, so hopefully we'll have screenshots in the future of these secret courses, and with any hope, some of us may be able to play them.

This is really interesting news, Parasyte has stated he will NOT release this as it can lead to cheats which will ruin online game play.

Akadoko_20051022

A hidden recorder function has been found in Akadoko (Where do babies come from).

Press Down+Y in the title screen, you will be able to record you voice for 3 seconds. Press Down+Y in the title screen again to play it.

Maybe some shy guys can make use of the function to express… Ahem… their love…

Ardsduomockforfeature

This cool device slots into your GBA or the GBA slot of your DS and enables you to access cheats and manage game saves. It comes with a PC application which you can use to download cheats and saves from the CodeJunkies server to be transferred to your DS or GBA.

Isn't it annoying how GBA carts usually only have room for one game save? Well, with Action Replay Duo you can back up your GBA and DS saves to the Action Replay vault itself, or on your PC. Great if you share your GBA or DS with your friends.
