Holiday season is fast approaching and it won't be long before store shelves get flooded with a deluge of game titles for different consoles. Gamespot has posted a list for October and there are a lot of titles for the PC and GBA. Of course, there are some PSP and DS games on the list.

First is a video game from THQ that was based on the 2006 movie Alex Rider: Stormbreakerr. In this game, player will be immersed in the world of spying as its gameplay needs not only sheer fighting ability but also stealth and strategy. The game hit the shelves October 2. EA's football simulator video game FIFA 07 is just about to hit the stores. If you're not into sports, you can grab a copy of Gangs of London, which features new PSP-specific content.

Did you know that you can actually convert your DS to an eavesdropping device, a wiretap detector or even a smoke bomb? Well, we didn't know that and we don't know how either. But don't worry because we will all be taught how, anyway, by teen spy Alex Rider in the movie Stormbreaker on October 6.

But there is one thing we are aware of  that Alex Rider himself is not. He didn't know the US version of THQ's Alex Rider: Stormbreaker is going to be available earlier than expected! Yep, you can now actually place your orders online over at SuperUFO. Shipping will at once commence when the sticks arrive. The game costs $32.49.

Alex Rider: Stormbreaker is an action, third person, stealth game. Players take control of the very young Alex Rider who was recruited into MI6 after his uncle Ian was murdered under mysterious circumstances.

THQ's Alex Rider: Stormbreaker is based on the novels and upcoming movie of the same name . According to THQ, players will take on the role of Alex Rider to out-spy, out-wit and out-cool evil in a thrilling action adventure featuring third person stealth game play, fast-paced racing action, intense fighting and unlockable mini-games.
