Teaser site

Yesterday, we told you about the possibility of a U.S. release for the lovable Nintendo DS game, Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon. We mentioned that it would be released to the North American market under the name, Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo Tales. Aside from that, we also told you that nothing official has been said by Square Enix about this matter. This tidbit we got for y'all could be the official word we are waiting for.

Just recently, the teaser site for Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales has gone up. In it, you will find that the game would have an April 2007 release date. Aside from that small info, you would be treated to some cutesy music and some Chocobo feathers (you'll know what I mean when you visit the site). Anyhow, our read link below will take you to the simple, yet endearing teaser site.

42 All-Time Classics

Yesterday, we featured some screens and info about the Nintendo-published game, 42 All-Time Classics. This game has become a part of the innovative Touch! Generations franchise, which is made up of games that will be the fancy of non-hardcore gamers. Some of the titles included in that said franchise are Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training, Electroplankton, Big Brain Academy, and Tetris DS, among many others. So in the not so far future, you may have to share your DS not only with your pesky kid sister, but also with Dad and with Grandma. Sigh...

But going back to the game, there are some people who are expecting great things from this one since its Japanese counterpart, Daredemo Asobi Taizen, has been reaping praises from gamers not only in Japan. All the games in 42 All-Time Classics will feature a stats-tracking function, allowing you to view your wins and losses as well as other statistics for each game. Surely, this game would suit not only card game enthusiasts but also newbies. The card games aren't the only thing we should look forward to, most likely the parlour games would also be a blast!

Nintendo has released five new screens from the game collection 42 All-Time Classics, to go with our previous post that detailed the game's contents. As a new title in the Touch! Generations franchise, 42 All-Time Classics will give you hours and hours of entertainment.

The game features 42 of the most popular games ever invented ranging from card classics like Poker and Texas Hold ‘Em, board games such as Chess and Backgammon to bar games like Darts and Snooker. And should you ever run out of games to play in Single-Player modes (pretty unlikely by itself), you can try out the multi-player mode with up to seven friends, not only enabling you to play all the games in the collection together, but also offering a Pictochat-like communications feature that lets you bluff about your Poker hand just like in real life!

42 All-Time Classics hits European store shelves on September 29.
