FF7 Advent Children Complete - Image 1Say, did we miss anything? Some of you may be wondering if Square Enix did keep true to their promise about announcing something pretty big during DKS3713. Prior to the event, the online community has been stirring about some "big FF7 announcement" or BFF7A, as I'd like to call it in acronym form. Now the event is done, where is it? Where is the BFF7A? The way I see it, it's actually already been revealed.

DKS3713 - REMAKE 7 - Square Enix remakes FF7? - Image 1After the media blitz from the DKS3713 event of Square Enix, things have been rather slow. And if you're still holding out for that big FF7 announcement - which I think is already covered when they announced that FF7ACC will include the FF13 demo - then here's something you might want to see. I do warn you though, it's nothing but a rumor - more of fan art, even. But I'll nonetheless share it with you guys. Time for anagram lessons.

Nintendo DS - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days - Square Enix - Image 1Currently, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is tagged with a TBA 2008 release. But it was only recently that Square Enix revealed that they still haven't gotten the game polished much (compared to how polished Dissidia is, at least). Could the KH title for the DS be pushed back to as late as 2009? Well, a scan found in the DQ5 box seems to keep Square Enix's promise. C'mon, Roxas, you don't have to put on that red dress tonight...

After a full year of weekly updates, we're now turning over a new leaf and allowing this QJ.NET mainstay to branch out by introducing the Weekend Warriors. Sorry, the Weekend Whattssitts? Hmm, just think of it as the Planeteers summoning Captain Planet. ...Or something - some other equally bad analogy like that at least. Ha! Nonetheless, it's going to be quite interesting from here on out. Here's to yet another year of some crazy weekly updates! And with that, we open the floor for the Weekend Warriors!

QJ.NET's new 5-star review system explained - Image 1Numerical scores are like so last decade ago. So, breaking free from the supposed "one-size-fits-all" checklists of items to add up to a game's "score", we're going to be implementing a new five-star review system. See, we're trying to avoid having to quantify video games into arbitrary numbers. After all, many of us feel that a game isn't just the sum of all its parts (as in a checklist), but rather, the totality of the gaming experience itself! In the full article, we've come up with a handy FAQ to introduce this brand spanking new system to all of you QJ.NET readers. And yes, there're no half-stars about it! Rawr!

Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4 - Image 1With Solid Snake enjoying epic numbers in Japan, it's now time to take a look at the other side of the world. Chart Track reports the software sales figures for the week ending on June 14, with Metal Gear Solid 4 closing its firm grip on to the top spot. Lego Indy is like so last week now. Its multiplatform success on the PSP, PS3, Wii, DS, 360, and PC last week apparently wasn't enough to take cover from the Guns of the Patriots. And for a PS3-exclusive to bring a multi-platformer down at heel? That's definitely saying something! See Raiden do the happy dance in the full article.

DBZ: Burst Limit - Image 1Before solid snakes... Super Saiyans! Though MGS4 still isn't accounted for in these charts, it's still quite a view to behold. For the week June 2 to June 8, 2008, the PS3 version of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit took the top spot, while the Xbox 360 is making its presence felt in the frequently Nintendo-dominated charts. Hardware sales still have the PSP on top. But what about the rest? Are hardware sales already plateauing? Read more to check out the Media Create software and hardware sales charts.
