PokemonPokemon Mystery Dungeon is yet another release in this famed series in which the main character wakes up only to realize that he's been turned into an actual Pokemon. While being the first actual game in which you play as a Pokemon might seem exciting enough already, what's even better is that Nintendo is offering everyone who pre-orders the game a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescuer's Guide. This guide features plenty of Pokemon information as well as a preview of another game.

Pokemon copies have been known to sell fast, so you better pre-order this soon before they run out. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team plays on the Nintendo DS while the Red Rescue Team is meant for Game Boy Advance SP. In both releases, you play as a Pokemon as you work your way through randomly generated dungeons. Both versions are planned for release on September 18th, while the official guide will be sold separately starting September 12th.

DS LiteA large shipment containing loads of black DS lites and piles of DS games has gone missing somewhere in Hong Kong. Instead of making it to Europe where the black Lites are launching, the cargo carrier carrying an estimated $2.32 Million USD is nowhere to be accounted for. Some believe that these DS lites are making their way onto Hong Kong's black market, which suggests that the carrier was hijacked. Hong Kong police are offering a reward around $128,000 for anyone who can help catch the culprits. Only black Nintendo DS Lite units are going to be available in Europe after June 23rd, so this loss couldn't have come at a worse time.

Sure there are plenty of other traditional basketball games on the market, but how many of them star everyone's favorite plumber? In Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for the DS, gamers will be able to take advantage of the touch screen by using it to perform special passes, tricky dribbles, and sweet shots. Classical Mario characters such as Luigi, Peach, and Wario will all be making an appearance, and you can be sure that power-ups like Red Shells and Bob-ombs will heat up the court. There will be several tournament modes and mini-games on the single player side, and you'll even be able to battle it out with a friend with a local wireless connection. No matter what way you decide to play, Mario Hoops 3-on-3 won't be your typical basketball game.

Star Fox CommandAlthough no official announcement has been made, Nintendo has updated the game page for Star Fox DS with the new title Star Fox Command instead. Although they did forget to upload a new logo, it seems as if Nintendo may be shifting away from naming every game after the console. Regardless of the name, the Star Fox game on the DS will support 8 players locally and 4 players via Wi-Fi for some intense dogfights, while the single player campaign will also take gamers on another exciting journey throughout the Lylat system. Hopefully Nintendo will announce the change so we can fully confirm it, but it's fairly safe to say that the change is here to stay.

Recently we posted some screens for SNK vs. CAPCOM Card Fighters DS showcasing this trading card game, and today we received even more information about this highly anticipated strategic title. SNK describes this game as "A Unique strategy card fighting game with RPG elements and baseball card trade-ability." In it, you can play as your favorite SNK or Capcom character on your quest to become the greatest card fighter of all time. On the DS, there will be plenty of never before seen cards as well as some of your favorites, bringing the total card count over 300. You'll have to develop your own card arrangements and learn about your character's special abilities to increase their overall value and strength.

The classic Neo-Geo Pocket Color card battle game is making its return to the gaming industry, but this time around it will be found on the Nintendo DS. Although we're not quite sure what role the touch screen will play, we do hope that SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters DS will live up to the venerable name.

Ever since the original release back in 2000 this game has been a popular card battle title, and this time around you can expect to see the same match-ups between Capcom and SNK that made the original so great. While the US release is still unknown, a Japanese release is currently planned for December 31, 2006.
