For hardcore gamers, the second annual America's VideoGame Expo (vgXpo) slated for October 27 to 29, 2006 can't happen soon enough.

The vgXpo is the US's version of the Tokyo Game Show and the Korea G-Star Convention where gamers can come together and celebrate the different aspects of gaming.

The second vgXpo will be held at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Philadelphia. Gamers will be able to participate in the different events scheduled for the convention, such as cosplay and halloween costume contents, various tournaments, card-gaming, video game bands contest, exhibits, playing new titles, and meeting industry figures, among others.

Approximately 17,000 attendees and 40 exhibitors attended the previous vgXpo in 2005. This year's gXpo is expected to draw a larger crowd.
