After much confusion as to the actual title of the new Prince of Persia title headed exclusively for the DS comes finally the confirmation from Ubisoft themselves.

The title that will expand the saga with a different storyline is none other than Prince of Persia: The Fallen King. "Heir Apparent" was close enough, but it was no cigar. It should be interesting how the Prince will show off his mad acrobatic skills and combat action using the DS' unique stylus controls, don't you think?

It's also been slated for a holiday release this year that is meant to be complementary to the release of its other versions, namely: Prince of Persia (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) and Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (Wii).
